Our history
Vedrova NV was founded in June 1996, within the structure of Transport-Group TP&H, located in Herentals (Belgium) with branches in Poland, Bulgaria, France and Moldova.
From the very beginning, we have focused our activities on transportation to and from Central and Eastern Europe.
Over time, the successful combination of a large fleet of own trucks and commercial and operational know-how resulted in continuous and stable growth.
2001
In July 2001, the Group moved to a brand new site with modern offices, a warehouse of 2.000 m² and a 20.000 m² fenced and secured parking.
In 2001, we obtained the ISO-9001 certification, an approval of our Quality Management System. Two years later, in 2003, we expanded our activities to Turkey and Iran.
2007
After ISO-9001, our company got SQAS assessed in July 2007. SQAS is a system to evaluate the quality, safety, security and environmental performance of a Logistics Service Provider. This assessment is especially important for the chemical industry.
2010
In September 2010, we obtained the AEO certificate. AEO stands for Authorized Economic Operator. These operators have been approved by or on behalf of a national customs administration. Customs will trust these operators and perform less or no inspections on goods.
Also in 2010, we developed intermodal transport solutions to meet additional customers’ requirements. This means we offer intermodal transport as well using containers or cranable trailers.
2014
In December 2014, we obtained the ISO-14001 certificate. This certificate is important to manage our environmental responsibilities.
2015
Since 2015, we have been expanding our services to Western Europe and developed a new operational department for this purpose.
2016
As from 2016, a track & trace tool has been implemented into our services. Through a web-based logistics platform, shippers have the ability to trace their shipments at all times.
