Despite the fact that the mode of transport changes within the same itinerary the load unit does not. The same container can be transported with a truck, boat or train.

Think of challenges with a single use of a mode of transport such as traffic jams, tolls, ESG goals, … Combining transport via ship, road and train can be cost efficient and reduce your carbon footprint.
